This Mother’s Day feels extra special to me because I finally get to spend it with my mom after years of living away from home. Now that I live in Colorado, being able to celebrate her in person is a rare treat. To add to the excitement, my little brother is tying the knot the same weekend which means I get to extend the festivities and spend even more quality time with my mom.
For this Designer Inspired Mother’s Day gift guide, I’m sharing all of the items that I know my mom (and all my aunties) would absolutely adore. I’ve also included a few things that I’ve already picked out for her myself. It’s been far too long since I’ve been able to spoil her in person, so I’m making the most of this opportunity.
You’ve still got a little over a week left to get your gifts in order for mom. A lot of these items are quick ship and on sale, so if you are a last minute shopper you’re in luck!
Mothers Day Gift Guide
- Beeswax Wraps ($20) – These reusable food wraps are an awesome natural alternative to plastic wrap for food storage. I use these almost daily in my kitchen and love knowing that we’re not creating a ton of waste.
- Dutch Oven ($88) – Perfect for the home cook who loves a hearty meal. I swear by dutch ovens and believe every kitchen should have one of these!
- Cedarwood & Cypress Candle ($26) – For the earthy & citrusy scent lovers. This candle smells so clean and summery, and the jar is also pretty for incorporating into your home decor.
- Stanley Tumbler ($35) – This practical gift is great for moms on the go. I love that it has a rotating handle to make lugging it around easier.
- Ribbon Scalloped Raffia Tote ($99) – Who doesn’t love a personalized gift? This raffia bag with embroidered initials is so cute for summer and can be used as an everyday tote or beach bag. Isn’t the scalloped detail so sweet?
- Full-Length Plush Robe ($30) – Perfect for lounging or indulging in a spa day, this cozy robe will make her feel like royalty. I love robes, so maybe I’m a little biased with this one..
- Warmies Eye Mask ($20) – I can’t live without this item, so it’s an obvious must-have for my mom, too!
- Wildflower Tea Kettle ($149) – Add cheerful character to mom’s kitchen with this hand finished tea kettle by MacKenzie-Childs. Isn’t the floral and polka dot pattern absolutely darling?
- Mom’s Story Book ($25) – I think this is a great sentimental gift to journal through with your mom!
- Lip Oil ($26) – This little beauty essential will become her go-to for a touch of hydration and a hint of shine.
- Green Tea ($20) – Elevate Mom’s tea time with a premium green tea. It’s a gift that’s as thoughtful as it is delicious!
I’m always on the lookout for unique gift ideas, and I bet you are too! What’s on your list for her this year? If you’re a mom yourself, what has been your favorite gift you’ve received for Mother’s Day? I’d love to hear from you!
